Mu Theta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority , Inc. was chartered on the campus of the Lewis University on May 23, 1975. At the leadership of Clairice Boswell and the members of Joliet Alumnae Chapter (currently Joliet Area South Suburban Chapter).

AIDS/HIV Awareness
Regional Initiative
Opens the eyes of individuals to AIDS/HIV in the world, while testing over 50 people for the disease. Annual Walk with Regional Care and World Aids Day.
Fight Diabetes
Focusing on a healthier lifestyle. Partnering with the American Heart Association.
Fight Like a Girl
Motivates women to be stronger individuals, protecting themselves from domestic violence
Project Red Carpet:
Promoting the Arts. Making sure we support movies with a positive message. Movies like: Not Easily Broken and the Princess and the Frog.
The Delta RED Program
We are collecting used Cell Phones and Ink cartridges. Look for collection boxes at your school.
